Addressing deep psychological reversals - the reversed spiral

ADDRESSING DEEPER STRUCTURAL REVERSALS IN ENERGY PSYCHOTHERAPY –

THE REVERSED SPIRAL

The concept of psychological (or psychoenergetic) reversals is well-established in the field of energy psychotherapy. It refers to the phenomenon whereby a person consciously wishes to resolve a problem, but energy testing (kinesiology muscle testing) reveals a deeper determination to maintain the problem. This was first explored extensively in the 1980s by Dr Roger Callahan, developer of Thought Field Therapy, but it drew upon earlier observations by Dr John Diamond of instances of “a reversal in the body’s morality system” in which toxic substances were registering as nutritious. Callahan found, by trial and error, three strategies that usually mitigated the power of these reversals: tapping the side of hand small-intestine acupoint; a statement of self-acceptance; the use of the Bach Rescue Remedy. He tended to favour tapping side of hand along with a self-acceptance statement. [Note that somewhat confusingly, Gary Craig incorporated this reversal treatment into his EFT method but called it the ‘set up statement’].

Later energy psychotherapists began to appreciate details of emotions and motives that can lie behind reversals. There are a few that are very common and can be expressed in the following ways: It is not safe to resolve this problem; I do not deserve …; I will not still be me if …; I am too angry to …; I will lose something important if …; I will be betraying my parents/ancestors/group/tribe if … Thus, commonly there are psychological motives behind the reversals. Occasionally, there might be no motive – the reversal is essentially energetic, caused by some factor (pathogen, food, or environmental) that has flipped the system into reverse.

However, I have found more subtle and insidious, deeply structured, causes of reversals in some instances. There is a distorting factor in the deep ‘operating system’ of the person. The results can appear psychological, and the client and psychotherapist may engage extensively in addressing and seemingly resolving these, exploring all manner of resistances to recovery – but the problems do not resolve.

Although it is a commonplace observation that insight alone often does not resolve psychological problems because these are encoded more deeply in the energy system of meridians and chakras, the deeper structural reversals I am referring to may persist even with extensive energy psychotherapeutic work.

So, what is the nature and source of this deep structural reversal?  It requires a little understanding of the (hypothesised) 12-point grids and the energies that flow through them. It is impossible to prove the existence of the 12-point grids since their postulated presence is at higher dimensional levels that are not detectable by our senses or conventional scientific instruments. However, I find the working hypothesis of the grids very helpful clinically – by which I mean that by working as if these grids exist, and testing for errant coding or distortions within them, positive results often occur. The Blue Diamond that I work with is the very centre of the 12 point grids.

The higher subtle energies should flow in a particular spiral through and out of the centre Blue Diamond point. This allows the person’s deeper being to be continually ‘fed’ by higher energies from Source/Unified Field. It is an organic spiral, working as it should. I find that in some instances there is a reversal in this spiral – it is inorganic and does not emerge from the Blue Diamond point – and this disrupts the proper energy flow and cuts the person off from higher frequencies. This deep reversal in the basic spiral gives rise to reversals all the way up into the mind, creating what may appear to be psychologically driven objections to being well.

On the left is a representation of the organic ‘Krystal Spiral’. The image on the right shows the inorganic spiral in red - it emerges from signet 5, distorting this from a locus of autonomy to a focus of oppressive dominance over female elements and energies (in both overt genders) - and it then moves through signet 4, perverting sexuality, before cutting the person off from the higher dimensions of 12 and above. The inorganic spiral 'twists' the personality and keeps us (or part of us) trapped and encapsulated like hostages in our own inner torture chamber. We need, with humble intention and request, to bring the higher Source energies of the Unified Field into these split-off shadow realms for healing to occur. 

This inorganic spiral can be detected by kinesiology energy testing. Fortunately, those who are familiar with working with the Blue Diamond can then request that it be removed and replaced with the organic spiral. I find this can have immediate positive effects. The higher level reversals will then either have disappeared, or will resolve as their genuine psychological nature is explored.
